SAD BUT TRUE

August 20th, 2005 by lbbacurnay

Nakakatawa how one would die looking for it,
while one would just let it die…

Nakakatawa how each and everyone of us is very much affected by
love…

Nakakatawa how everyone live by because of LOVE.

Well, here is a story…

In a dream, GOD told me,that I could pick up a woman I like from His
field. But i have to choose only one. Once na
nakapili na ako
, I have to raise my hand and say I
finally found her, then go back to GOD for praise.
But, He has this condition, that I could never turn
back. Once nalampasan ko, I should move
forward. Sabi ko, GOD won’t give me rotten
crops of women. I have been a good son and I
deserve to be with a good woman. So my journey
begin, as I went through the field, nakita ang iba’t
ibang klase ng babae
. Some were tempting me to
pick them. Pero sabi ko, baka may mas maganda,
mas mabait, mas matalino, mas masipag, mas
mahal ako sa dulo ng
field na ito. I let go. Once.
Twice. Believing that in the end of the field is my
princess, waiting for me. Then I saw a woman. She
sees me while I was there picking up crops in
GOD’s field. She looked at me straight eye. And I
don’t know why, pero there is something in her
that I longed for. Pero hindi pwede I have to make
it to the end of the field. I have to see the right
princess. If habang lumalayo ako nakakakita ako ng
ganitong klase ng babae, baka
in the other end
may mas hihigit pa sa kanya. Until, I reached the
end of the field. GOD asked me, "Di ba
napakakulit mo, araw araw nagdadasal ka na
magkaron ng partner in life, ngayon bakit wala
kang dala.
My crops are all fresh and good. There
is none there na di maganda. All for the picking."
I answered. "I thought I would see someone at the
end of your crops, my LORD, wala na pala." Each
steps to perfection na hinahanap is a step to
nothingness. I have met someone in my path but I
did let her go. Believing na there is someone
better, at the end of your field. God said, Im sorry
my child, but you have to face reality. I have given
you enough time to choose. Face these
consequences. Then i said, "I’m sorry that I
wasn’t brave enough to raise my hand in the
middle of the field and commit myself to
someone. I was not ready to face the challenges
of life with someone I thought was of lesser value
than me.. I’m sorry.

Nagising ako’t umiiyak, saying sorry to GOD and to my life. Then I
realized that GOD is giving me another chance to
choose, but not in His field but in the field of
uncertainty. Now I’m looking at the one looking at
me straight eyed wondering if she is the one.
A good lesson for love…longing for
perfections?  If you have doubts or second
thoughts, be honest to tell your other half…go for
your happiness…follow what your heart see, hear
and felt…before that person be unreachable…Express
what you feel!!!

PET SOUNDS

August 18th, 2005 by lbbacurnay

Late one night, a burglar broke into a house that he thought was empty.  He tiptoed to the living room, but suddenly he froze in his tracks when he heard a loud voice say: "Jesus is watching you."  Silence returned to the house, so the burglar crept forward again.  "Jesus is watching you," the voice boomed again.  The burglar stopped dead again, now frightened.  Frantically, he looked all around.  In a dark corner he spotted a bird cage with with a parrot in it.  He asked the parrot: "Was that you who said Jesus is watching me?"  "Yes," said the parrot.  The burglar breathed a sigh of relief, then he asked the parrot: "What’s your name?"  "Clarence," said the bird.  "That’s a dumb name for a parrot," sneered the burglar.  "Who’s that idiot named you Clarence?"  The parrot said: "The same idiot who named that Rottweiler ‘Jesus’."

A PECULIAR THING

I’ve read from a men’s mag that there’s a guy who paid US$ 11,100 just for a dinner with Singapore’s celebrity actress.  And to think the guy’s just a naval officer (Sounds stupid, isn’t it).

And in case you’re wondering just how the heck this celebrity pulled it off, here’s some backstory for you.  In an attempt to find her Mr. Right — had offered the privilege of dinner with her to a highest bidder at an on-line auction.  Now before  you get any crazy ideas, the money doesn’t go to her.  It goes to a charitable institution.

What about the guy?  Was it a lot of money for him?  Well, he says that US$ 11,100 is what he can afford, comfortably.  And the amount is something that he feels worth giving.

As to wether the two taking this any further, they’re both keeping mum.  But the girl says that this is a friendship worth building on and they’ll definitely keep in touch.

Truly, there have been some novel fund-raising initiative on this fair land.

WEDDING ANNIVERSARY SEX

August 15th, 2005 by lbbacurnay

A husband and his wife had a bitter quarrel on the day of their 40th wedding anniversary. The husband yells, "When you die, I’m getting you a headstone that reads: ‘Here Lies My Wife - Cold As Ever’."  "Yeah," she replies, "When you die, I’m getting you a headstone reads: ‘Here Lies My Husband - Stiff At Last’."

“WEDDING CRASHERS”

August 13th, 2005 by lbbacurnay

I’ve just watched the movie "Wedding Crashers" which stars Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn.  Oviously from its title, the two crash weddings to eat sumptuous food and to hook up girls in their unique ways.  The latter is the their main purpose.

Things have changed after they crash the wedding of this prominent family.  Also stars my fave hottie Rachel McAdams

This is not a slapstick one.  This is a high-class comedy.

GURLS…

August 12th, 2005 by lbbacurnay

In Asia Agcaoile’s article in FHM, there are six things about men that women generally drawn to.  And these are:

1. EXCLUSIVITY (Member of royalty or some sort of a VIP)

2. FAME (Popularity)

3. POWER (Sense of leadership)

4. MEANS (Money, money, money!!!)

5. LOOKS

6. PERSONALITY.

Girls out there…  Are these things you should look for a guy?  What if a guy is geeky? doesn’t came from a wealthy family? doesn’t leads any organization? But has a lot of confidence and hardworking enough to have a nice family.  Would you still like him?

I’m leaving you these questions gurls.

BADMINTON IS MY NEW SPORT

August 8th, 2005 by lbbacurnay

Aside from my other sports like basketball, billiards, dart, bowling, and volleyball, I found out badminton was such a nice sport.  Pagpapawisan ka talaga dito.  I started playing it last month with my officemates. It’s the "smash" thing I like most from this sport.  Kailangan din ng utak in playing this sport.  Now, I play this regularly.  Three times a week perhaps.  I loved this sport.

Try this and you’ll never get dissappointed.
